E Kane for Gaborik + OEL - points only
Deal is my E Kane for his Gaborik + OEL. Points only. Keep 11, points only, weekly head to head.
In a keep 11, and assuming I do this deal, I would have to drop one player. But I take on OEL as one of my 4 dman. Thoughts on Gabby this year? Too risky?

I think OEL could possibly turn out to be your best Dman after all is said and done. If you do this deal (which I would do considering peripherals aren't important in your league and Gabby is a monster in points only when healthy) I'd drop either Fowler or Carlson and come out with a pretty great looking keeper group across the board.
If you REAAAALLLLLLY don't want to drop a dman, I guess you could afford to cut Wheeler knowing that you're picking up a star RW

I'll I keep seeing here is OEL, OEL, OEL...
I've had him on my team twice in the past 2 years...losing him both times in trades...given his fantasy output to date, it was really a non factor. But this being his 3rd year...from a Fantasy perspective when cats include Points / PPP / PIM's / +/- and GWG...how much value does OEL really have?

Could he really replace either of my Doughty, Edler or Phaneuf?
I'd take Gaborik & OEL side.
I'd drop Wheeler.
Last summer I traded Jeff Skinner for Gaborik & Brent Burns.
And I won that trade.
Evander Kane... he's good in multi-cat, but there's just not enough offensive talent in Winnipeg for him to touch 65+pts.

I'd jump on it. I would trade Evander Kane for Gaborik straight up, add on the fact that your getting one of the best young D in the game, and it's a no brainer for me.
Looking at your team I would drop Carlson, in favour of OEL.
pulled the trigger. will drop fowler from my list. hope to pick him up on draft day at #9. year's ago, our two leagues merged into one, so there is two of every player. and there are two fowlers now. my chances are good to land him once again.

Gabs has dual LW/RW status in our league, so he'll be one of my two LWs alongside Lando. Wheeler is staying put on RW with Ebs.

Good move with this trade. Kane is a great multic cat guy but for points only he is very over-rated. Plus you got OEL in the deal. Great job!
