He's on pace for 54 points and still may get shipped to a better team, so he definitely has value.
Is Kaberle worth trading for in A Keeper League? I'm in 10th of 12, so kinda looking to rebuild a little. And what is he legitimately worth? At 32, is he still worth a 2nd tier forward? Or maybe a package of 2 lesser forward?

There are so many promising young defensemen in the NHL now that there's no way I'd trade for Kaberle if I were in rebuild mode. I'd be looking at your league's contending teams for d-men like OEL who might not help them win this season. Offer one of your veteran forwards who's still bringin' it this season but doesn't have great keeper value for a d-man like that.
What about Doughty? Would Plekanec be enough or should I offer more?

Also, it's a Dynasty League, so we keep everyone.
Kaberle still has 4-5 very good years left, especially if moved to another team. If you could get him for a 2nd-tier forward, I would do it.

So a guy like Plekanec? Or is that overpaying?
Plekanec for Kaberle would be OK but wouldn't be nearly enough for Doughty.

This would be an interesting time to acquire Kaberle as we'll soon (finally) learn where his future will be - either through trade or through UFA. Anywhere other than T.O. should see an improvement from his numbers, I'd think.
I've had him for a while and am thinking of seeing if I can get Kesler for him - so this thread is interesting.

I've also just been offered Kaberle and Lecavalier for my Yandle and Pavelski. I'm obviously rejecting that, but possibly going to counter with Yandle and Pavelski for Kaberle and Carter. I would love to acquire him without giving up Yandle, but if I have to, getting Carter would be nice. Thoughts?
