100 % Kryder's fault IMO. It's been the xth time he ran in goalie in his young career. You have to control yourself few feet from goalie.
just ****ing terrible the whole thing, this is unfortunately always the way it seems to play out too
you get some 2nd rate player taking out a superstar and the series is ruined...we'll never know what might have been
I'm so disappointed

I was wondering the same thing actually. Every media report I've heard is just wondering if it should be Budaj or Tokarski - no one is even MENTIONING dubnyk. I'm not saying the should go with Dubnyk - they shouldn't - but why on earth did they trade for him? Did they really need an experienced #4 goalie that badly? I wonder what the "future considerations" they traded for him are?

If Emelin doesn't make contact, I doubt Kreider loses his balance and this is avoided.
#StartDubnyk
LOL - I can't handle people putting full blame on Kreider for this. When you beat a guy at the blue line the way he beat Emelin, adrenaline is pumping and if Kreider is not continuing at top speed then he is basically passing up a great scoring chance. Emelin and Weise got beat bad on that play, both caught a piece of Kreider with slashes - they both own part of the blame.
Blame breakdown:
35% - Emelin
25% - Weise
25% - Kreider
15% - The Curse of Patrick Roy
why does there have to be blame...
it was a hockey play with an unfortunate result.
shit happens.

"Cleavage is like the sun. You can look, but dont stare.. Unless you're wearing sunglasses."
If Emelin cuts off the angle to goal rather than trying to play the puck this never happens. Weise was also coming back to support the play which would have caused Kreider to either take a shot from the perimeter, dump the puck in, or stop and hold the puck while waiting for support.
What should have been a simple defensive play cost the Habs their best player.
oh please, you call that love tap a hack? Rangers homer much there buddy?
All season we've seen Kreider fight through checks 10 times as tough and not give an inch, you expect us to believe on this one he just happens to slip and go barreling into Price full speed with his skates pointed up?
No chance
