As long as people can remain respectful and not inflammatory, it's good to go. I've already handed out one infraction as a warning. Hopefully that's the only one.

Zero context here, so it doesn't really prove anything for either side other than the fact that this was clearly a very hostile and un-fun league.

Why can nobody produce a smoking gun here??? If Notch vetoed fair trades and made unfair trades himself, SHOW US THE TRADES!!!

Pretty much just shows vetoing was the thing that crumbled the trust amongst the league.

Never trust a league with vetoing. Especially when the power of the commissioner alone can veto a deal. I've never seen a well run league where the commissioner can veto a trade alone. Even if the commissioner is acting in the best interest of the league, it just plants the seeds of mistrust.

Agree with this here. There were clearly some issues with notch as the commish, but to come on here and make those claims about him, I would fully expect strong evidence of conviction. These posts really don’t show anything here .

How much was the buy in for this league? I really find it hard to believe that fantrax wouldn’t refund money to people not being allowed to participate in the league.

To me, one of the biggest issues is shows that people were ok with continuing as is, and basically are complaining after the season finished.

I don't see anything Notch has done to give him these "warnings". We're still waiting on WHAT TRADES were vetoed!

I'm not a fan of vetoing, but I feel this league set up is messed up to begin with. GM messaging a commish to approve a trade asap so he can activate a player that evening is wrong to begin with. Process a trade, players are available the next day seems like the logical thing. Also reduces the stress on a comish with demanding gm's.

Also, Notch asked for one of the GM's to contact him regarding the trade, and it appears he didn't. So what you expect Notch to do?

Just saying, it could be just 1 of you. It's not like there are strict account verification methods on here (nor does there need to be), you could have just made 5 accounts or whatever. Which doesn't mean Notch didn't cheat, it just means we really have no idea how many people are verifying this claim and none of you can provide actual tangible proof.

It's actually hilarious that this dumb thread is 9 pages though.
