Time to make some bold moves
Things have been on a steady downward spiral since Week 1. Between underperforming draft picks, crap luck with postponements, running into hot streaks, missing out on those season-saving FA pickups (Trocheck anyone?)...I need to do something bold and hope for the best.
My team is pretty much only top-performing in G and SOG. Near bottom of the barrel in A, +/-, PPP, and goalie cats.
I think I need to start throwing offers out there that include some of the big guns - Ovi, Marchand, Patches, Josi, Sergachev, Rust - pretty much my only guys still performing, or jump ship and cut my losses with guys who may have more perceived value but won't regress positively too much, like Burns & Fiala.
Stuck with too many of the "too good to drop" types that are hamstringing my flexibility.
My team is pretty much only strong at LW, and there are some notable LW FAs (Kreider, Ritchie, Verhaege, Tuch, Comtois, Bjorkstrand, Gurianov) that I maybe need to try 'shifting' the balance of my team so get help at C, D, G even if it means slight overpayments so that I can start playing the short-game to get back in it.
So if all of you fine fantasy hockey enthusiasts are me - who are the top guys you're trying to move and what are some type of players (either multi-cat or cat-specialists) to try landing?
