I can see these guys potentially cracking the top 10 next season yes. I am just not ready to count Burns when only considering one year.
How much can Burns gain from the extended offseason?
- Gets back to 100% health
- Karlsson back to 100% health means Burns doesn't need to be on the ice as much.
Not to mention Burns was number 11 in a down year for him and the Sharks. I say he's got one more 70 point season in him.

Do we all really want to put Hamilton that high based on half a season that seems totally out of whack with the rest of his not-so-young career? The rest of the list I can get behind, but I'm not convinced with this guy.

Thanks for the rankings all, so based on consensus it’s looking like:
Carlson
Josi
Makar
Hedman
Hamilton
Karlsson
Krug
Hughes
Burns/Dahlin/Rielly/Pietrangelo/Chabot/Werenski
Would this be a decent summary?
All these names make sense for me, but I believe Letang still has top 10 upside. If he manages to stay healthy, I'd even say I expect him there rather easily.

Looks like our consensus ranking was pretty close to Dobber's updated list, with a couple notable differences, we had Josi a little higher, and Rielly quite underrated.
Dobber's updated top 10:
1. Carlson
2. Makar
3. Hedman
4. Rielly
5. Josi
6. Hamilton
7. Hughes
8. Karlsson
9. Krug
10. Pietrangelo
