Jurco is something special. Can easily see him going 25-30th
The tournament is still in it's round robin phase so it won't be the Championship game tonight.
All games are broadcasted on Rogers Sportsnet in Canada and the US NHL Network broadcasts some games too (some of theirs are on tape delay).
Remaining Games:
Owen Sound vs. Saint John - Tonight @ 7pm
Kootenay vs. Saint John - Tuesday @ 7pm
Mississauga vs. Owen Sound - Wednesday @ 7pm

"We've had a couple shakers in this place. This year we haven't had the time. We had a couple good ones last year, right?" - Phil Kessel
Agreed. Jurco has been really good and I wouldn't be surprised to see him go anywhere from 15th onwards. I really doubt that he slips outside of the top 25.
I am actually LOVING Huberdeau too. With the exception of RNH, I think Huberdeau is the best forward in the draft. I would have no issue with a team drafting him ahead of Landeskog, Couturier and/or Strome. Scouts have to be loving his play throughout this Memorial Cup (and QMJHL Playoffs as well)

I think he's a second rounder still. He goes to Edmonton at 31...for now.
but yeah he can go anywhere really, this draft is extremely wide open
And....Huberdeau scores the OT Winner. This kid is DAMN good.
It won't raise his stock that much from where it already was. Just a short "tournament" if you could even call it that. Plus he hasn't been dominant, but that goal was very nice. Even if he was terrible I don't think he would drop, scouts already have seen him and know who he is. Good scouts won't be swayed by the Mem Cup, IMO.
Welcome to Ottawa, Jonathan!

If you look at my April 10 post in the Senators PG advisded thread, I predicted we're getting Huberdeau
Sens have scouted him the most apparently and are fairly high on him. I'm happy that we'll get one of Huberdeau, Landeskog or Couturier.
Predicted by who? A mock draft? and you think the prediction is set in stone? lol
There are literally so many different options for the Top 6. Only thing set in stone right now is RNH going #1, most likely.
PS He won't drop to 6th, Ottawa would have to trade up. I think it's very likely Ottawa won't be picking at #6 in this draft, don't know who they will trade up or down for but I think they move.

It's wide open I've even seen mock drafts where Larsson falls out of the top 6....
Mock drafts don't mean diddly. People do them more often than not by team need, no one can accurately predict who will fill a team need and who will go BPA. Everyone has different opinions on BPA or a team need... So essentially it is just a wild stab in the dark.
