No brainer if you're getting Panarin, but if you're just thinking about offering you would probably have to add something substantial
Hey fellas,
Regarding team 1, I have 3 pure C (Tavares, Bergeron & Trocheck). Looking ahead, there will undoubtedly be some conflict where I have to bench one. I'm in 1st by quite a large margin and was thinking this could be a decent opportunity to acquire Panarin by offering him Tavares. Thoughts on this move?!
Thanks in advance!

Yeah I don't think Tavares for Panarin gets it done but perhaps the circumstances gives you a position of strength to trade from. If you can get it done and you feel confident Panarin comes back then it's a slam dunk. I think you only lose out on hits to be honest.
On the other side you are top and so the make up of your team is good and competitive. Do you want to 'gamble' that on carrying Panarin for a period of unknown time. Anyone else that is currently active that you could move Tavares for?

Either of those aren't terrible options. Debrincat is bouncing back and playing big minutes. Stone will continue to be involved in most of Vegas output.
If you're top I'd argue you don't need to chase and gamble. I'd lean away from picking up a guy like Panarin who we don't know when he'll return.
If you're losing games played through benching a centre then DeBrincat or Stone aren't the worst people to target. I'd say your team output remains similar but you get more games played?

Stone maybe, but I dunno about debrincat. Seems like you should be getting a bit more, as good of a year as he's having. Just seems like a sell low buy high a bit.

Absolutely would do it if you think you can handle the blow. Now might be a good time with Tavares 2A night. Dont know if they will take that, but due to the uncertainty around Panarin it's worth a shot.

Just moved Tavares for Stone! Hopefully the 5A from Stone last night is the beginning of him turning things around.
