Is there positional requirements on your keepers? As in, must keep 2 D, 1G etc..
He was a keeper for me going in to this season. Keep 7. Not sure if hes worth a keeper spot after this terrible year. Is anyone else keeping him?
Im planning on keeping Krug and Werenski at the moment. Werenski is young and i like his upside.
Gostisbehere sucked this year and the emergence of Sanhiem can only hurt him. Gostisbehere has 0 value in a trade in my league too.
What should i do?
Fantrax: 7 keepers - Goals, Assists, PPP, Hits, Blocks, Shots, +/-, PM, Wins, Shutouts.
Forwards: McDavid, Guentzel, A. Svechnikov, B Tkachuk
Defense: Hamilton, Carlson, Chychrun
Goalies: Swayman

No requirements at all
I am in the same boat of to sell him or not to. Personally I'm gonna wait and see what offseason trades come my way to move him. Of as you say he isnt worth anything to anybody I might keep him just 1 more year
You keep your top 7 guys, if he's not in the top 7 guys, unfortunately you drop him.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
Good offensive dmen are not easy to get which is why im on the fence with him..my gut is telling me to give him another chance. It would be devastating to drop him and watch him have a bounceback season on a different team
how many teams & how many do you start per position ?

14 teams, start 6F, 4D and 2G. Points only league
McDavid
Kucherov
Seguin
Andersen
Krug
are your 5 locks.
After that it becomes almost league specific.
I would have no interest in keeping 2G in a keep 7.
Only way I would is if 90% of teams kept 2G.
I can't see that, Raanta goes back
If you're insistent on keeping 2G, then I'd keep Lehner
Connor would be my 6th keeper, regardless. He's got some extra levels he has yet to tap
D hold considerable more value than forwards.
56 vs. 84 – This gives a D cut off around 30pts vs. 54 for forwards - – top waiver this year
The risk here is the potential of Ghost to bounce back to 55+pts. I think you have to keep a 2nd D
They have a similar floor, but Ghost definitely has the higher ceiling.
Consider who could be leaving CBJ this summer. I wouldn’t expect Werenski to bump his totals much next year.
I would take the boom potential of Ghost. Sometimes the best trades are the ones you can’t make.
Connor
Ghost
Round out my 7 keepers.

Thanks for that in depth break down. My signature wasnt totally updated. I have no intention of keeping 2 goalies. I forgot to unbold Raanta when i aquired Andersen.
I have thought about Connor, young, on a good team and probably is a lock for that top line next season. I think hes still got another level to his game.
That leaves Ghost vs Werenski. Tough choice. I get what your saying about columbus. I might just have to hold off and see what moves columbus makes in the off season. I dont think my official keepers list has to be in until end of July.
What you need is either of them to give you 50+pts vs. 30pts on the wire to keep a 2nd D over Troch or Couturier
who would both need 74pts + to make it worth while to keep either over a 2nd D.
I prefer Couts by a hair, for what it's worth.
You want to end up with the net positive here.
I'd prefer Ghost myself, it's that Boom factor
I'd look at it this way.
Werenski had a good year at 44pts.
3 off his career high
Ghost had a horrible season, 38pts - only 6 off Werenski
As much as concern should be about Sanheim taking Ghosts slot.
Werenski's got bigger concerns with Jones for that #1 PP slot

Theres just something about the flyers that keeps my from getting excited about Couturier. I really like Trocheck and was obviously hoping he would hit that 70 point mark again. Do we think with the coaching change in florida that Trocheck will benefit? Maybe get his PP1 spot back?
Gostisbehere has to have 2 consecutive bad years for me to give up on him. But that's just me.
