I\'ve tried to make a couple of deals but this is the group i\'m working with. I have 10 spots to allocate to keepers so trades aside who do I keep?

the team that won last year had and still has luongo and brodeur. We count wins, gaa, shut-outs and saves. I figure I\'m not gonna beat him with quality goalies I might as well beat him with quantity of goalies. Keeping three goalies will allow me to maximize 3 out of the 4 categories.
not knowing what your stats are and wether you are hoping to be in contention or rebuilding for a couple years down the road i\'d keep
lundqvist(young ans should be good for a long time)
biron(worth the gamble)
bouwmester(young and almost there)
rafalski(moved to a great team with plenty of scoring potential)
spezza(easy one)
kovalchuk(should improve on last year he\'s just to good, still no centre tho)
richards(they have to get a winger from somewhere or it could be the same production as last year)
gagne(should improve on last year as well, i like the new look)
radulov(team isn\'t as strong now tho but he shud get more ice time)
marleau(want to say kariya but providing he doesn\'t get moved the sharks are still stacked)
had my post before your second one came up lol. hmmmm.

in a roto league we do g,a,+/-,pims,ppa,ppg,shp,and one other category for skaters for goalies the aforementioned w,gaa,saves,so\'s
oh, i forgot the idea was to contend this year but i\'m kind of stuck in the middle.
My opinion based on your selections and also based on my league which in all probability is slightly different would be to protect 2 goalies. Lundy is a no brainer but I would go with Biron for the second goaltender as I think he is the better of the 2 stats wise and I am starting to like Philly a whole lot more this year with Smith and Timo added to the blueline.
This opening would allow for Rafalski to be protected as he and Lidstrom will form a duo that few could compare to should Nieds retire from Anahiem.

its roto so you get points based on where you stand in each category. thats why im keeping 3 goalies in order to compete in the goalie categories. If im going to have a shot at winning the pool i need to take points from last years in the goalie categories.
i also wonder if your looking at the competitions goalies as if they were going to duplicate last years stats. jersey has definitely taken a slight step backwards with their losses and i think luongo had a lot to prove coming from florida. a lot of things have changed from last year yet the canucks haven\'t. not sure if i see them doing as well as they did even as good as luongo is.
if your looking to have 3 goalies is it possible to try to deal for someone better than ward with some of your spare parts. carolina should be better this year as well but should, coulda, woulda don\'t get very far and their team hasn\'t changed much either.

I\'d find a way to keep Hemsky.
I\'d find a way to keep Hemsky.
I dont think that brodeur and luongo are going to slip all that much and i dont see a lot out there being available thats better than ward.

Keep Lundquist/Biron
Bow /Rafalski
Spezza/Gagne/Richards/Radulov/Kovy
and use Marleau and a combo of Hemsky/Nagy/Karyia to land another stud goalie...
Play up the fact that Nagy went to a young offensive minded team, and that could sell him on someone.
Pitkanen might be young, but you can\'t discount the fact that he is on an offensively challenged team right now, and if it comes to a choice, do I want the guy who plays PP with Lidstrom/Zetterberg/Datsyuk/Holmstrom.....hell yeah!!!
