    Default Leafs buy-out Armstrong

Per Friedman: Armstrong bought out today. May not have worked out in Toronto, but he's a hell of a guy. He'll work hard to make an impact elsewhere.

Man, I feel bad. I've met Army before and he's an amazing guy. I'm gonna miss him on this team, but the injuries and cap hit are too much.

If I'm not mistaken, his caphit will be 1,000,000 for the next two years (via Capgeek).

Someone will pick him up for cheap (since he's already getting paid a bit by the leafs). Any guess on where he goes?

Its too bad i really like him as a bottom 6 player. Does the dirty work.

    Too bad for injuries.

i wish it was Komasarik though. Wonder how much of not doing it involves Burkes (or any GM for that matter who makes a mistake) Pride.

    Solutions for the Komasarik situation:

    1) Trade him (Best)
    2) Waive him and have him get claimed (Decent)
    3) AHL (~Sigh~)
    4) Buyout (~double sigh~)
    5) Trade for Markov because he makes Komasarik play like a $4mil d-man (shoot me now)

No Armstrong on 24/7 is a loss for the entire hockey watching community

They could hang out on the IR together ....... I joke. He seems like a solid guy, too bad for him that his health has been such a problem

Another example of a prospect being touted as the 2nd coming of Christ(sorry Lord)
and not living up to others expectations , despite the fact he's a good player.Yes I know
injuries were/are a huge factor as well but , maybe the league should reconsider the age
    of NHL eligible players.
Lets face the facts , many young players are just "too small" , or/and not "grown" enough
to enter a league with fully grown men.
Just saying , let the bashing begin , lol.
As I've stated before my worst pick ever , Colby Armstrong , 1st overall , gamble pick but ,
the hype here and elsewhere was equal to RNH , Yakapov , Huberdeau , etc. and I was new
to this fantasy hockey thing at the time.
    Roto type keeper league.We keep any 6 ;15 teams , 3 div. of 5.We play 3 lines , 3 def. and start 2 goalies.6 BN.Stats are 1pt. for goals and assists , 2pts. for W , tie(O.T. or S.O. loss) 1pt. S.O. 1pt.Weekly line-up from Mon. to Sun. Total pts. per line against other teams lines.

LW - Ovechkin , Drouin ,Steen , Huberdeau
    RW - Nash , Callahan , Nyquist
    C - B. Schenn , Fisher , R.N.H. , St. Louis , T. Johnson
    Def.- E. Johnson , Gologoski , Suter , Doughty , O.E.L.
    G - Scheinder , Dubnyk , Lack
