Yes, I'm sure (unless the new CBA changes the UFA criterion). Radulov won't turn 27 by June 30th 2013 (his birthday in July 5th so he misses this by a few days) which means he'll only be UFA in 2014.Originally Posted by loco man

.....so has this "decision" to play in the KHL confirmed by Radulov himself? This whole thing about "his agent implied" doesn't really confirm anything.....just speculation. I've held on to him for 2 years.....this would be very fustrating news to say the least. Why doesn't a NHL team just sweep him off his feet and offer him a sizeable contract? (rights pending of course) Being able to get a talent like Radulov doesn't happen every day. Malkin or Ovi should be on the phone trying to get him on their respective teams....both teams are cup contenders and he would thrive playing with fellow countrymen.....who happen to be super-stars....who wouldn't jump at that opportunity!
