Long term league, not awful. Short term league, a sign of desperation.

It's a 20 team Dynasty league, I'm in a mini rebuild and would be a part of a deal I get for Putz. But I only want to trade for him if he will be significant. My C right now is Mauer, but I could move him to 1B now or if he goes to 1B full-time, like some people are saying Min might do
Mauer will remain the catcher, with some time at DH and 1B until the Twins move Justin Morneau.
I'd look at trading for other young catchers like D'Arnaud and Mesoraco.

yeah, that's what I meant about Mauer. Won't know what Mauer will do until we know what Morneau's future is
Isn't Conger's biggest problem his manager?
