Trade Greinke and Cole?

I've been offered two trades that involve Zach Greinke.

I give: Greinke and prospect Gerrit Cole.
I get: Troy Tulowitzki, Matt Harrison and either Joel Hanrahan or Jason Motte.

I give: Greinke.
I get: Prince Fielder.

This is a 24 team dynasty, we keep all of our players and prospects. My current shortstop is Brendan Ryan and my current first baseman is Justin Morneau. We have a Utility spot as well and the league uses weekly lineups.

The format is h2h points/h2h roto.

Points wise, here's how the trade breaks down.

Trade offer #1
Tulo: 174
Harrison: 253
Motte: 221
or
Hanrahan: 253

Greinke: 273
Cole: 0

Trade offer #2
Fielder: 237

Greinke: 273

Of course Cole is a prospect, so he doesn't have any points. He told me that if I want to just do Cole for Harrison and one of Motte/Hanrahan, that would be okay with him as well.

Trade one is hit or miss. I think Greinke is overrated. His splits are usually insanely strong, meaning he only really has good numbers at home. How much value does a really half time starter hold to you? BUT Cole is a good prospect, so you'd potentially be taking a pitching hit long term. Tulo would be a huge upgrade at short, you'd get a decent starter and a good closer to boot. I don't see it as terrible, and would consider doing it if your minor league pitching depth is strong.

Trade two might be better though. You'd be straight up trading for a big bat, so things wouldn't shake up as much. The issue is that your SS problem wouldn't be resolved at all. Think you could then trade Morneau for an SS?

I like option 1 with hanrahan.

Any chance you can swap Harrison for another arm? Or leave Harrison out and swap Justin for his 1b if better.

The offer is firm and he won't budge, Harrison is the starter I will be getting if I do that trade. I've been saying Morneau is available for a while and really had only a few decent offers, most were pretty uninspiring. If I do the Tulo trade, I gain pitching and a big (incredibly valuable) bat. If I do the Fielder trade, I gain a big bat, but absolutely no pitching in return.

I'm leaning towards taking the Tulo deal, would you rather have Hanrahan or Motte? I'm thinking Hanrahan here.

I like Hanrahan and Motte about equally in terms of upside, as Motte is on a better team but Hanrahan is more proven. Slight edge to Hanrahan to me.

Agreed, you won this deal easily IMO. You got the best player at a premium position in a deep league for an overrated pitcher and a high upside but unproven prospect.

Nice....BTW, I read that Hanrahan could possibly be moved, maybe to a contender and that would mean more wins and save ops.

Now....can you package Harrison and Morneau for a 1B to someone in your league? He seems to go on binges, so wait a bit till he hits a few dingers in consecutive days.
