He showed a lot of improvement this past season in the AHL but could use more seasoning, the Canucks won't rush him (nor to they really need to) and he could use another season in the AHL.

Are we just looking for current AHL Dmen that will be in the NHL next year?

Mark Borowiecki will make the Sens next season. No fantasy relevance, but does have shot at 100 PIMs.

Patrick Wiercioch, is another Dman that could see some time in Ottawa. After almost dying on the ice last season, he is training in Ottawa right now with best friend Kyle Turris. My opinion, but think of him as a poor man's Tomas Kaberle. Weircioch has a shot; just won't use it for reasons only Kaberle knows.

One thing is for certain, the Sens need 2 defencemen to come from within, via trade or the FA route. One left handed, the other right. The two options I gave, are from within, with Borowiecki being the best bet.

How did Wiercioch almost die last season? Curious.

I think Eric Gustafsson has a good shot at making the Flyers. They need another offensive d-man and he looked decent in the playoffs.

I watched a St. John vs Wilkes-Barre Scranton game earlier this post season and Paul Postma looked very good for the Ice Caps on the powerplay as the QB.
