I would try to get someone better than Zajac. Basically, if you can get someone else near the caliber of Parise, I'd likely do it. 2 safe B+ guys are safer than a very risky A.

Parise and Benn and a draft from him to you

Crosby and a round lower draft pick to him.

Parise is back to his old self and i don't think we've seen the peak of what Benn would do in this league.

Yes Crosby could return as a 100+ point guy, but when do the players you get back actually coutner balance that...and the severe injury risk that he is. One more big concussion and I'd be willing to be, he hang's them up. He's a smart guy. Money will never be a factor for him. And he's too smart to risk his life.

    Just my opinion.

Benn and Parise + pick up-grade sounds decent but , don't under estimate Voracek , this
guy is just entering his prime.Maybe you could squeeze Parise , Benn & Voracek for Crosby
    + an expendable player.
Remember , the guy with the best player at the end of the day is generally the guy who
    won the trade.Just saying...

Fantastic Idea...re: Voracek. I only Caution you...don't strap yourself at Center. I wasn't paying attention to who you'd have left. Savard and Connoly to fill Crosby's shoes? If I'm reading correctly.

    Esh!

    So here's the last news:

The other GM doesn't want to talk about Benn.

My offer was something like :

    Parise - Voracek - Zajac

    vs.

    Crosby - AK

    What do you think?

Personally I would hold on to Crosby, and if you are set on trading him then trade him a few weeks into next season. He trains in the offseason like a beast, and will come back next year destroying it. If you are worried about the injury risk, then sell high at that time, but at present it is not optimal. As I said, personally I would keep him, otherwise I would wait. You will be able to get a lot more for him if you are set on trading him.

That's an easy no. Like someone above said, wait until 2 or 3 weeks into next season, and trade him as his value is rebounding again.

If you have to ask if its a good deal then its not worth moving Crosby. Only way Id ever move him is if was an absolute no Brainer.

    So...

    vs.

It's not more players you need back, it's better ones. Tell him to stop putting together these big packages thinking the talent will somehow "add up" to the talent you'd be losing. You need to improve your starters at other positions while accepting a small downgrade at center. In these package deals he's aiming for the classic "best player in the deal" win.

Not enough... Crosby's definitely a sell-high right now in my books, but I'd think you can get more than Parise.

you are not going to get value for crosby its just not going to happen

no way i would give anywhere near value to someone i knew was trying to get rid of a player especially one of the top players to own

you are scared and the other gms know this and they are going to treat the negotiations that way

just hold crosby if he is as good as you tried to tell everyone he is he sounds like a good player to have
