Default 1st Yrr H2H League No baseball since 1992

1st Year in a yahoo H2H League. Haven\'t followed baseball other than the world series since 1992. Friends coaxed me into joining and don\'t want to be taken advantage of. Scoring are as follows R, H, HR, RBI, AVE - W,SV, K, ERA, WHIP (What is the whip?)
Roster contains the standard 8 hitters plus 3 Util spots & 7 Bench players.
Pitchers are, SP, SP, RP, RP, P, P, P. My team as of the draft is as follows.
    C) Ryan Doumit, Pittsburgh
    1B, 3B) Miguel Cabrera, Detroit
2B, SS, OF) Alexei Ramirez, CWS
    3B) Chipper Jones, Atlanta
    SS) Rafael Furcal, LAD
    OF) Grady Sizemore, Cleveland
    OF) Carlos Beltran, NYM
    OF) Jason Bay, Boston
    Util,1B) Lance Berkman, Houston
    Util) Vladimir Guerrero, LAA
    BN, OF) Jermaine Dye, CWS
    BN, OF) Chris Young, Arizona
    BN, SS) Miguel Tejada, Houston
    BN, 1B) James Loney, LAD
    BN, 2B) Kelly Johnson

    SP) Chad Billingsley, LAD
    SP) Rich Harden, Cubs
    RP) Bobby Jenks, CWS
    RP) B.J. Ryan, Toronto
    P)Yovani Gallardo, Milwaukee
    P) Justin Verlander, Detroit
    P) Kevin Slowey, Minnesota
BN, SP)Ted Lily, Cubs (dropped Randy Johnson for him, good/bad move?)
    BN, RP) Huston Street, Colorado

It seems as though I have a decent team by yahoo\'s rankings, would like some opinions on my team from others. Who are my solid keepers, who are expandable. Appreciate any help you can send my way. Thanks in advance

I think you autodrafted very well, and I wouldn\'t be suprsied to see you win it all.

How many managers in your league? It must be under 10 I would think?

    WHIP is Walks+Hits/Innings PItched

Very solid team you\'ve got there.

Sizemore, Beltran, and Gallardo are definite keeprs. Probably Cabrera too, dependig on how he does this year.

you have too many bench sticks for H2H, i don\'t think you\'ll use Loney or Young much at all since guys will pretty much play everyday and you\'ve backed up your positions otherwise. i\'d trade for more SP who\'ll get you K\'s or find it on the wire if there\'s any available. in H2H i like to run as much pitching out there as i can since my hitters on my bench won\'t be able to play more than a couple days a wk anyway (depending on your settings)

    I agree with shallowfrozenwater...

What are you gonna do with a .260 hitter thats sitting on your bench? He could be a valuable asset to another manager or even if he is not you could sweeten a deal by adding either Young or Loney in it. Also, if your friends are like mine sometimes they fall for the love of the name so Tejada could be marketable.
