Default New team.. need some keepers - REP

I just picked up a team a 2 months ago and the team isn't in good shape as far as keepers go - The guy was on auto draft at the draft apparently. I managed to knock off the #1 seed and almost the #2 seed in the playoffs so I have some depth (mostly through free agent pick ups) but no real stars.

Currently a 12 team league but dropping to a 10 team league next year
    Keep: 5F, 2D, 1G
Stats: G, A, +/-, Hits, Blocks, SHP, PPP - W, GAA, SV, SO

    Forwards
Bergeron, Legwand, Elias, Malone, Hossa, Versteeg, Clutterbuck, Datsyuk, Kopitar, Hartnell, Stafford, Desharnias, Havlat, Lecavalier

    Defense
Keith, Strait, E. Johnson, Kulikov, Georges

    Goalies
    Nabokov, Theodore

It is still being decided but I may have #1 overall pick as well as Price being added as my goalie keeper (since I am starting at a disadvantage + the contraction)

I really have no idea who to keep as my 5th F I am leaning towards Lecavalier right now though.

For D: Kulikov or E. Johnson.. leaning Kulikov

Goalie: Praying they just give me Price (the auto draft didnt pick a goalie until the 12 round).

Also who would you pick #1 overall.. RNH should should be avaliable.
I am thinking of drafting nothing but young talent this year and next and try and get my keepers set up for the long term.

    Havlat.
    I know... injury-prone.

But I don't have problem with injury-prone players in H2H leagues.
If they are back for playoffs, it helps big-time.

You have to stock your forwards to get your PPP.
Use your defense to stock your Blocks.

I'd personally look to move Keith/Streit and consider keeping Kulikov/Gorges on D.

Few decent names to choose from.Lecavalier for me. Still got couple yrs of 60+ pts, IMO.If anything, sell his name value via trade.

Kulikov. Great start to the year. Can only improve if you can sustain the bumps and bruises along the way.

RNH available? That means Landeskog must be in the mix? If so, multi cat stud in the making. Consider drafting Landeskog ...if youre a fan of his game.

It's my understanding that Clutterbuck is rotocat gold. He chips in a decent amount of points and is one of the league's most prolific hitters. Don't overlook him.

You may be best off just crunching numbers based on your league categories and see how much each players contributes from each cat. I've never played in a league that counts +/- or hits and if you haven't either, it can be eye-opening to see what effect some players have on those cats.

    Food for thought.

Bergeron might make a good choice. 20+ goals, hovers around 60 points, great plus/minus, plays the PP and SH, just under a hit and block a game. Solid all around player.

Bergeron for me, he does it all and has so much talent it's not funny. His plus minus stacks up nice on a Boston beast and produces well...

Without looking up numbers (I dont play in any hit/block shot leagues) I'd take Bergeron, but in these extended cat leagues, you really need to look into it more, Clutterbuck could be better than Kopitar for all I know
