(urgent) Drop Gomez in Yahoo Finals now?

Guys,

I\'m currently in a Yahoo H2H Final matchup now for the championship and have Gomez pulling the DTD business. I\'m lacking his scoring bigtime the past 2 games, and if questionable for sunday that\'d be a huge let-down for me.

Do I drop him knowing that he might play a game or two next week? Is it one of those \"clip him and get a guaranteed player NOW\" type of situation? It\'s non-keeper, and i could use that extra C thats around (Sam gagner, Brett mcLean, pavelski?)

Please help - i\'d love your input before i make a move and hate losing potential games from guys on my team to dtd (as giggy\'s also giving me now)

Other guys out there are O\'Sullivan, Vermette, Cogliano, but I\'m feeling either Gagner or the other ones i posted earlier maybe?

I would make a move and try to grab someone off the wire. Gagner would be a pretty good pickup right about now. Even if Gomez was healthy I would DROP him he\'s only put up 1 pt. in his last 7 games.

Take a look at Gagner... hell even a guy like Jeff Halpern who\'s put up 12 points in March is worth a look...

In March of the guys you\'ve mentioned:

Gomez 5 pts.
Gagner 14 pts.
McLean 11 pts. (1 pt in last 3 after those 5 straight 2 pt. games)
Pavelski 8 pts.
O\'Sully 9 pts.
Cogliano 11 pts.
Vermette 9 pts.
Halpern 12 pts.

Like I said any of those options are more viable than Gomez, I\'d be leaning towards Halpern over Gagner ONLY because Halpern still has 6 games left while EDM only play 4 times...If Halpern isn\'t there than I\'d go with Gagner.

I would drop Gomez, too much of a risk especially with the ribs. I would pick up either Gagner, Cogliano, or O\'Sullivan. In that order too. I picked up Cogliano last week, 2 Gino\'s the other night, all good.

Drop Gomez get Gagner now.

i\'ve already dropped bieksa as my 4th D for Franzen, and am definitely going to go either Gagner/Halpern for Gomez in a bit but would like to hear more about Halpern or Gagner (or anyone else?) before i do it...

I would drop him. If you\'re in the finals then EVERY game counts. There is no time to waste or games to give away. I would drop him for Gagner.

Jeez tonight was a clusterf*ck in so many ways!

Everyone on the watch-list i had scored or was on the board with a point or fantasy worthy stat... wtf, haha.

Dropped Gomez hours and hours ago - but still got credit for him and his 2 pp points tonight (phew!), then saw that halpern did ok, pavelski and vermette did ok too, no to mention mcLean and whoever else. this is going to be interesting.

O\'Sully put up 2 points last night as well. This Ersberg kid is looking real good in LA. Is he the next goaltending project in LA until Bernier is ready??
