You are right there but the Nords were being bent over a barrel by the Lindros family. They can\'t complain too much, they got a couple cups out of it.

I know that is a slightly different situation, but, my point is the flyers had no problem shipping a GIGANTIC package for the rights. If I am rebuiling I would rather have multiple high picks (say 3 from tor if they sign carter plus a few more 1\'s from Philly, other picks, prospects, and a nhl guy or two) than the one guy. I don\'t know if they could get a deal done, but with that kind of ammunition in hand (8 1st round picks over four years) the flyers are a dangerous \"buyer\" all of a sudden. It is the kind of move they would attempt. That is all.
