Default Should this be an easy "accept"?

Maybe I am seeing too much here but I was just offered this trade in one of my keeper leagues (not the one in my sig).

    I get:
    Nino Niederreiter
    Mika Zibanejad

I send him my 1st round entry draft pick for the 2012 entry draft.

10 team H2H standard yahoo scoring (Goals (G), Assists (A), Plus/Minus (+/-), Penalty Minutes (PIM), Powerplay Points (PPP), Shorthanded Points (SHP), Game-Winning Goals (GWG), Shots on Goal (SOG))

I am currently in 4th place overall and will end up there or higher so its not like I am giving up the 1st overall pick here. I can stash both in my minors system so they wont affect my current roster this year.

I am not really a big Nino fan but Zibanejad interests me as I see him playing next season in Ottawa. Nino is not being used to his abilities and is wasting away on the 4th line. I understand, he is too good for Major Jr and cant go to the AHL.

So what do you think? My gut says accept this and my guy normally does me good.

6th or worse pick in the first round? That seems like a pretty good haul for that pick - I would do it.

Take it Forsure. You are really getting two 1sts for 1 and Zinbanijed (can't spell) has a very high ceiling.

Ok, thats good to know. I didnt think my gut was wrong. I do have one other issue though. By accepting these this deal, that means I will have to drop 2 from my current minors to stash them. I will list my entire roster, with minors. Who the hell do I drop to make them fit???

    Center

    Anze Kopitar
    T.J. Oshie (24/182)**
    Ryan Getzlaf
    Pavel Datsyuk
    Rich Peverley

    Left Wing

    Alexander Burrows
    Chris Kunitz
    Evander Kane (19/139)*
    Tomas Fleischmann

    Right Wing

    Corey Perry
    Teemu Selanne
    Martin Erat

    Defensemen

    Erik Johnson
    Kevin Bieksa
    Ryan Suter
    Dan Hamhuis

    Goaltenders

    Marc-Andre Fleury
    Miikka Kiprusoff
    Al Montoya (26/26)**

    Injured Reserve

    Andrei Markov

    Oklahoma City Barons (10/10)

    Dougie Hamilton (17/0)*
    Henrik Karlsson (27/17)**
    Matt Read (24/0)*
    Cam Fowler (20/76)*
    Michael Grabner (24/96)*
    Zack Kassian (20/0)*
    Alex Burmistrov (19/74)*
    Alexander Salak (24/2)*
    Dustin Tokarski (21/2)*
    Cedrick Desjardins (25/2)**

My first option to drop is probably going to be Henrik Karlsson. Not sure after that. If Yahoo would get their shit together and put Peverley on the IR, like he is, then I would only have to drop 1 because I can pull one player up from the minors.

I'd also consider dropping Salak or Tokarski but you might be able to use them to get a pick or something.

I would drop Peverley. He is injured right now and is your 5th center. I am assuming you cant keep everyone and he wouldnt make the cut at the end of the year.

Also drop Karlsson. I think he will always be the backup. With his age, it will be tough to win a starting spot in todays NHL. By the time Kipper moves on Irving will be given first crack at the starts position (IMO).

I would then move up Grabner to provide a 4th RW giving me 4 deep in C, RW and LW.

This is the route I would go as well. Both Niederreiter and Zibanejad are much better guys to have on your team.

(i would get sick of spelling the names though thats for sure)

If the pick you are trading isn't a top 2-3 pick, I think this is a pretty obvious "accept."

I own Zibanejad and Niederreiter in my keeper league, and I wouldn't trade the pair for a 1st rd pick - unless it was a top 1-3 pick.

Both Zibanejad and Niederreiter have solid upside, Zibanejad probably sooner, but that's definitely a great return for a mid-round 1st round pick.

    Cheers.

I accepted the deal but have to decide today who to drop to make room on my minors to make room. Keeping in mind this is a limited keeper league where we only keep 10 at seasons end.

I know Karlsson will be one. Do I drop another goalie from my minors? Do I drop Peverley (seeing as Yahoo! is screwing me over by leaving him as day to day and not placing him on the IR like we all know he is)?

What do you think I should do??
