I have a GM asking regularly for some of my D.
Carlson, is high on his list. I have D depth, but am short up front (I'm weaker in goal, but one D-man won't get one).

This is a keeper league, so age plays a role.
Is there a trade that we can make? What should I be looking for in return, straight up for Carlson. I want to be careful as I Carlson is buy low right now. Any other deals?

To be honest, Id just sit tight and bide your team. You have a VERY young team and you're correct in saying that you're abasolutely stacked on the back end. Most of those guys haven't even come close to reaching their potential so it would be more like a buy very very low. Since you're probably not competing this year and you're keeping everyone.....let the sucker wait and build up the value of your D
Rundblad, Kirk or Bogo would be the only dmen i'd be okay with moving. However, the only player on that list i would want is Kovi. Other than this, your team is STACKED, and it's a matter of waiting until you SMASH on people.Originally Posted by TeamRamrod

Carlson is super hyped but something is just wrong in WAS so I'd move him while his value is super high.
I'd be looking at kovy or spezza. To me kovy is a must own. My only issue with yur team is you have Tedenby, josefson(listed twice), larsson. Already 3 devils. But I'd look to get kovy and then trade one of the others in a package for another NOW player.
Take stock of your team make sure to spread out the players over different teams and if you can add 1 or 2 more now players I think you have a better chance at winning next yr.
I'd even consider moving bernier for a more now goalie/forward.

I'm just trying to speed up the curve for my team. If I can give up something average for something proven (and younger), I'd look at it. I like Kovy to, but Bogo, Shatts and or a combo won't get him. I've been this patient and the team is starting to blossom. I can wait.
