Considering concussions and the way Giroux is playing plus it being a 1yr, i'd keep Giroux. If this was a dynasty, Crosby is the choice for me.

Crosby's is way worse as he sat out 11 months, took a fairly regular hit and is now out indefinitely again... Giroux has missed one game so far.

In a one year league, this is a coin flip. There are solid arguments for both sides. If it were me and someone offered Crosby for my Giroux, I'd negotiate and try to milk it a little bit.

I'd be leaning toward keeping Giroux.

This could win hardest choice to make on the boards right now.

If it were me in a one year I would want Giroux. I think...

I'm pretty sure I'd stand pat with Giroux, especially considering its a one-year. Something about Crosby definitely feels off.

I gotta say, the more I think about it the more Giroux seems like the better option here...

Giroux. Hardly a contest. The guy was playing like Crosby before he suffered his Crosby. Not all Crosbies are like Crosby's Crosby.

Let's be clear about something... Giroux has never played like Crosby has. Crosby is a generational talent. Its only Crosby's injury concerns that make this discussion even worth having. If Crosby plays a healthy year, without having to worry about a concussion, he scores 120pts/50g at a light jog. He is without a doubt, the best player since Mario.

However, in a one year pool, with what I've seen from Sidney... its not crazy to keep Giroux.

I hate the Pens and as a Flyer fan, I would let Roux spend the night with my wife, but Crosby is a couple steps above him as a hockey player.

I'd keep Giroux. His concussion doesn't seem as bad.

I'd also keep Giroux. As far as we know, this is his first concussion and the severity does not even come close to Crosby's. One year league= keep Giroux. If you can though, try to get him to throw in another guy, making it more worthwhile.

Sit with Giroux, its his first concussion at the NHL level and he was on an absolute tear, along with the rest of that team, when healthy.

I'd wait at least a week and see where both players are at. If both are still on the shelves or both back I'd take Crosby. If you can't wait I'd keep Giroux.

My logic is that if there both out then its a crap shoot, who knows how either one truly feels. My concern is that Giroux might come back a lot earlier than Crosby, since its his first. That's why I'd wait as long as possible before making a deal.

On pace for 46 goals and 112 points? Give credit where it's due, no one said Giroux was better.
