The Filatov Chronicles: The Final Chapter?
Are we nearing the end of the saga? If in fact, and it seems likely, Filitov and Bryan Murray had a heart to heart, what's going to happen? It is said that Filitov wanted to return to Mother Russia rather than continue to play in the AHL. Filitov was then recalled by the Sens and Condra sent down. Filitov played just over 15 minutes in his first game, a noteworthy increase in TOI from previous games. BTW he apparently had a decent game.
Are the Sens going to give him a final chance to shine? IMO, the team has nothing to lose and much to gain if it works out. If things don't go well....again, will that be it, will Filitov exit the North American scene for good?
What do you guys think?
