He's not out scoring Yakupov but his points per game pace is slightly higher (tough to keep up as he's only played 5 games).
Upside I would say he's 70-75 points but I expect him to develop into a 55-60 point threat at the NHL level.
Would love to get some thoughts on Brandon Saad from those who watch more junior hockey than me. Surprised everyone by making the Hawks out of camp and even saw some time on the top line; now he's back in junior and ripping it up - even outscoring Yakupov (granted, he's a year older).
So what's his deal? If the 2011 draft was being held today, does he go much higher than he did in June? What's his long-term upside, and is it higher now than everyone thought it was a few months ago? Or is this a blip?
Would also love some insight on his playing style, as I've never seen him play. Will he eventually contribute peripherals like PIM and Hits?
Thanks for your help!

Thanks Youngblood. I was referring to his points per game when I made the Yakupov comparison, but it came out wrong.

This kid isnt slowing down. Might be a good fit in CHI next season. Brunette looks tired.
I admit that my prime interest in drafting him is so I can annoy my friends by using that Terence Stamp line from Superman 2, "Kneel before Saad!"
I need to watch him play about 3 shifts with Chicago to realize he is an absolute stud.
Big, Strong, Fast, Smart, etc.
Absolute potential to be a gamebreaker.
