From Rich Hammond:

– Quick is the first Kings goalie in franchise history to record shutouts in three consecutive games. Tonight was his 17th career shutout (second most behind Vachon in franchise history).
– Quick now owns the franchise record for consecutive minutes without allowing a goal. Quick is now at 188 minutes, 10 seconds, breaking Rogie Vachon’s mark of 184:55 set in 1975.
– Quick is the first NHL goalie to record three straight shutouts since Columbus’ Steve Mason in Dec. 2008.

Can't believe they have this guy locked up at $1.8M.

So I figured that the guy I was facing this week would cave since his only goalie was Quick (starter, I mean).

God dammit.

I'm winning 7-6 in the matchup (Lundqvist being a savign grace SV wise and my skaters being skaters ^^), but it's just so frustrating to have your opponent get all 3 shutouts b2b2b in a single WEEK!

The most underrated goalie in the NHL.

Him and PRice have had similar careers imo (Quick started like a year later) but Quick hasn't looked back since winning the starting job. If Price was the one in LA and Quick in Mtl, we'd all be saying how Price is underrated and Quick would be getting a tonne of praise. And the defense in front of him isn't always well coached either imo, saw the last 5 mins of last nights game and he made some great reflex saves.
