Wow imagine if Tavares could skate! He'd be right up there with Crosby.
Picked him in one pool this year. He can finally shut up all the Duchene homers.

Tavares is on crack. I've never felt Duchene held a candle to Tavares and it's finally starting to show.
All I know is, I traded for Moulson this year in large part because I'll think he'll ride a Tavares 85+ pt breakout season to a 35G/65pt season himself, and I am pleased at this start. I rarely draft or pick up guys off waivers based on the line they're on, the typical "they're playing Semenko with Gretzky, Semenko should rack up the points", because it rarely works. Usually those lesser guys soon see the coveted spot taken away from them and go back to what they really are. OK I could have used a better example than Gretzky/Semenko but gimme a break, it's Sunday morning!
That said, for Moulson, this is not a temporary thing. He and JT are best friends off the ice and they have obvious chemistry on the ice, and Moulson being signed for 3 more years you have to think his production will just get better as Tavares emerges into the generational talent he is. As for Parenteau, way underrated, but I do think that Niedereiter (or Okposo eventually) is a better fit for that line with the size / skill combo.

Anyone see him play? How has he been looking on the ice?

2nd and 3rd lines have yet to ''get goin''.
I said it before and I'll say it agaim -okposo doesnt fit in well on the nielsen/grabner line.
square peg , round hole.
cappy mixed up the lines a bit in their last game by sliding okposo into the bailey/m.martin line (bumped rolston up to the grabs/nilesen line) and it seemed to suit his style better .
today , Rolston is a scratch(personal reasons) while Comeau re-enters the lineup.
so , it'll be interesting to see where cappy slots okposo today.
Nabokov will start for the 2nd game in a row tonight against the Pens.
Lines will remain the same as in Tuesday's game. So far, most of the scoring has come from the Tavares - Moulson - Parenteau line. The 2nd line of Grabner - Nielsen - Okposo has been abysmal with just 4 points in 7 games. Completely unacceptable.
Streit was -3 last game.
Tavares leads in SOG with 26 but in 2nd, surprisingly, is Matt Martin with 18.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.
where are the starts for monotya?
tough OT loss for the isles after keeping san jose at bay for most of the game
ref's blew a delay of game call , in overtime (puck hit the glass before entering the crowd)
linesman made the initial correct call but was overruled by ref .
Nino has been sent down.
How is that allowed?
