Next season, upside of 70-80 pts, probably four years from there, 60-70% hitting it. I like this kid a lot.

I won it all last season. I should contend again this year.

What would you do to improve that line-up?
count your luky stars you have such a good team? In a 14 team league that is ridiculous.

    With this team:

    12 team H2H: CC,LL,RR,FFF,DDD,GG
    G,A,PIM,PPP,SOG; W,GAA, SV%

    C: Marleau, Tavares, RNH, Berglund
LW: Benn, Staal, Mueller, Flash, PAcrioretty
    RW: Malkin, Callahan, Pominville, Brouwer
    D: Green, Yandle, White, Campbell
    G: Price, Ward, Rask

    Would you....

    1. Trade Pominville for Hemsky, Horton, Gionta, Voracek, Okposo (in what order)

    2. do Berglund/Marleau for Giroux/Roy

    3. Drop someone for Neuvirth...hoping someone will overpay for a G early on

    Thanks again

Don't know if you're still answering questions, and to be honest I usually refrain from mentioning proposed trades on the site since all my competitors check it daily, but I'm really struggling with this trade.

First off, players lose their prospect eligibility on their 23rd birthday.

-Trade: My Myers, Karlsson and Kadi, for opponent's Mike Green.

Trying to go for it this year, while opponent is in rebuild phase. Price feels a bit too steep. However, Ottawa will be in rebuild phase for several years, and so Karlsson's +/- will most likely continue to be tragic. But what's his potential for points? Myers is also a solid Dman, with tons of offensive upside in my opinion. But again, plays so aggressively offensively, that his +/- may suffer even though he's on a strong BUF team. Also, with Erhoff in for the long haul, Myers may lose out on PP time.

Green. Has he peaked offensively? Is he now more prone to concussions? Does he rebound back to ~70 pts this year or if/when Boudreau gets replaced by, oh let's say Run-N'-Gun Mark Crawford?

I'm deep with Offensive Dmen (Fowler and Murphy in the system). Is it worth going all in for Green?

I'm asking you specifically, because I enjoy your writing, and agree with you on many of your fantasy hockey thoughts. Would really appreciate your perspective ... and also your discretion in regards to drawing attention to this post. Thanks Angus

Tough call. Green, like Ovechkin, has looked out of sorts over the past two years.

So much talent.... and with Ehrhoff stealing ice time from Myers in BUF you could argue Carlson/Wideman will do the same in WSH.

On the other hand, Green is only 26. I'd probably make the deal and worry about Karlsson/Myers becoming studs after you've given yourself the best shot possible to win this year.
