Pavelec for Bernier & Couture
Team in sig, I am in a rebuild mode and was wondering if this is enough in return for a starting goalie? I only have Hiller left as a starter but I do have Markstrom on the farm.

In a full keeper and if you're not competing for the championship this year, this is a no brainer for me. Couture is an emerging monster by your settings.
I'd consider doing this, but keep focusing on rebuilding your goalies for the rest of the year because neither Markstrom nor Bernier are 100% sure things yet.

i would take this deal and run. if your rebuilding this is a huge steal. who cares if your next goalie in line is markstrom. you will have a trio of hiller, bernier and markstrom for years to come. getting couture throwing in is just gravy. that guy is a beast and is gonna be lighting it up in san jose for a long time. stop waiting around on this one before the guys kool aid wears off

This deal is great for you given your situation and rebuild. Pavelec is a good goalie but Bernier has the potential to be great, throw in Couture and it's well worth the price of the short term downgrade in net.
I would do this as well. Those are two very nice pieces.
