    both are a really big gamble at this point and both looked more promising earlier in their careers than right now but i would give the slight edge to grachev. boychuk still could pan out but he looks like he is continually getting passed on the depth chart in Carolina. i feel that these next 2 years are gonna be huge make or break years for the kid. grachev had an amazing pre season and should be the first call up sometime soon, maybe even right away with McDonald going down last night. ATM I give the slight edge to Grachev

    diamondback87 assessment of there situations is bang on. I drafted boychuk the year before he was drafted into the NHL and have had him on my farm ever since. I finally had to cut ties this year and drop him before my draft to open up a spot for someone else. I'm not saying he's done just that it is looking less and less likely that he will ever be a top 6 big point producing guy.
