Vermette was in the lineup. The only \"glaring\" healthy scratch was Hal Gill. He was only glaring because it was a last minute decision to scratch him. The announcers were speculating about that like crazy.

Did I miss something? Minnesota, too cheap or poor to get the nice present? I think Minnesota has been frugal in the early stages (as they should be), but with a new owner I wouldn\'t be surprised to see some deals shake down in Minny in the near future.

Besides, throwing all kinds of money around hasn\'t necessarily done the Rangers much good, now has it?
