Langenbrunner on Blues' top line
Ha, I did NOT see this coming and evidently neither did Langenbrunner, but it looks like he's won the open spot in the top 6 that I personally thought was going to go to Steen, D'Agostini, or Grachev. He'll be lining up with Mcdonald and Backes so looks like the second line will be Oshie-Berglund-Stewart

Sorry guys but as a devils fan I laugh at this. The devils had to play him on the top line bc he was a captain and when he got benched or moved lines he cried like a baby an that's why he isn't a devil anymore. I don't mind this move as I see Langenbrunner playing the kind of 'space-creating' roll of a S. Ott type player. I also wouldn't read too much into this as I expect a lot of shuffling as the year goes on considering how many 'potential top six' players STL has.
As an owner of a recently acquired Berglund I'm thrilled to see a goal-scorer like Stewart moved to his wing. Cha-ching!

man this is going to be the same story as last season; steen's going to be constantly cycled through the top 3 lines....St.louis rolls 3 lines, very even scoring, no real breakout.
After years of this crap, im hoping berglund and stewart can finally change this, but really with a 3rd line made up of some combo of d'agostini, steen, arnott, langenbrunner, sobotka and grachev is going to make it real easy for st louis coach to piss off a lot of fantasy owners....again :S
