    Default Salak, Lindback or Lack

    Hey folks,

Who should I pick as my 4th goalie:

    Salak, Lindback & Eddie Lack.

Which of the three has the highest upside?

I already have Miller, Rask & Varlamov.

    Thanks in advance.

In a 1 year I'd be hard pressed not to go with Salak. Emery is having a terrible camp and it looks like Salak will lock down the backup job. If he doesn't lock it down, go with Lindback.

In a keeper it's between Lack and Lindback but I'd really have to go with Lack. He's just plain awesome.

    It's a keeper league.

I'm kinda leaning towards Lack... but with Luongo in Van... might have to wait a long time.

    Thanks.

Oh.. I have to add Lehner to that list.

So Salak, Lindback, Lack or Lehner.

I like what I have seen from Lindback, and if history repeats itself once again ( Vokoun, Ellis, Mason). It will be Rinne on the block in a couple of years and the bargain Lindback taking over and putting up more solid numbers under that tight D.

Rinne is UFA at the end of THIS year and I think there's a solid chance he's traded before he hits the open market. Either way, we'll know within a year or less what Lindback's future holds. This kid has shown he can play in the NHL, he's on a team that plays a defensive style and has proven it knows how to develop a goalie and he's in a situation that will be resolved one way or the other within a year......I call that a money shot when talking about prospect goalies!!!

I'm taking Lindback out of these three.

If you have farm teams I like Lehner out of that list the most, Lack second. Personal preference and my opinion as of right now is they have the highest upside of the four.

Lehner, lack are my two fav.

Lindback I'm not all that high on but he's probably the best short term option
