    Default Trade my young talent?

I'm trying to win this year. Before you say trade your young talent for old reliable scorers take a look at my team. I only have ONE player over 30 [Vinny] and I think I have a reasonable chance of winning this year and with my young team, I think I can continue to compete.

12 Team, KEEP ALL PLAYERS [Dynasty]
G, A, PPP, SHP, +/-, PIM, Hits, SOG
    GAA, Sv%, Svs, W, SO

    Center
    Evgeni Malkin
    John Tavares
    Vincent Lecavalier
    Logan Couture
    Steve Ott

    Left Wing
    Bobby Ryan
    Scott Hartnell
    Tomas Fleischman
    Peter Mueller

    Right Wing
    Alexander Semin
    Jason Pominville
    Blake Wheeler
    Wayne Simmonds

    Defense
    Dion Phaneuf
    Alex Goligoski
    Ryan Suter
    Jack Johnson
    Oliver-Ekman Larsson

    Goalie
    Henrik Lundqvist
    Jonas Hiller
    Ondrej Pavelec

First, do you like Brodeur/Varlamov and Hemsky for my Hiller and Wheeler?
Another guy is really pushing on me to move Tavares+ or Ryan+ for E. Staal+, do you like that too? He also has included Neal and Subban in talks but I took Ryan in the 2nd round [in reflection might have been a bit early] so I kind of want to hang on to him and hope he can justify my stupidity.

I think I'm balanced stat-categoriewise but not so much positionwise. I know I'm really strong at G and C, especially because I have Ryan Strome on my prospect roster. I am trying to trade Couture and OEL to some youth-based teams, but haven't gotten an offer I like. I'm also waiting to make sure Hiller plays well then I plan on dealing to Pavelec to a team who needs a 2nd goalie. With these 4 players as trade bait, Pavelec, OEL, Strome, Couture, what caliber player[s] can I target?

Or do you think I should just hold onto them? If I could win with them on my roster it would definitely benefit me long term.

Your team is very good maybe try to trade Semin, but other than that just continue with your team you should have a good chance at winning

Don't trade Hiller, he is worth the risk. The other offers did not seem to be in your best interest either. I would hold off for now. You have a very strong team. Wait into the season to see how your guys are playing (presumably great) before you decide to do any moves

Its hard to give you advice without knowing 2 things....

    #1 - your prospect roster

#2 - of the 21 players in Yahoo, what are the starting positions? Do you start all 21 with no BN?

One thing I can do is some basic analysis, and your wings are very thin. Ryan and Semin are your only stars, with Semin a band-aid boy. Keeping with that theme Fleischmann and Mueller have both missed significant time while Pominville, Hartnell, and Wheeler are chronic disappointments.

Certainly there is a possibility of 60pt seasons from all those I maligned, but it's a volatile group. I would be keeping the Coutures, Pavelecs and OELs of your roster and perhaps move Vinny for a solid W option that will be 30/30 or better.

Frankly I wouldn't move any of your goalies as my rue of thumb is always 3 starters minimum in H2H as injuries can happen @ anytime. Ask Cam Ward owners 2yrs ago when he had multiple injuries in the 2nd half, or Hiller owners last yr during the Yahoo cup finals.
