Niemi or Howard?, Malkin or Fleury?

I have to select my keeper goalie, and have to choose between Niemi or Howard.

I know Niemi is the better straight up selection, but he turns into a free agent at the end of the year in my league, and Howard would have an other year of keeper eligibility.

Also - I pick 3rd overall this year in a 10-team league (same league), and have the chance to get Malkin, but would have to pass on a goalie until the 2nd round. Thus, a total 17 goalies will be off the board by the time I pick (10 kept, and 7 others drafted by other guys in the first two rounds).

Take Malkin or draft a goalie? (Fleury would be available at my spot as my second goalie).

Wow, first post in 2 years! Welcome to the boards!

You're going to have to post some league details if you want the best advice here....League settings, Scoring settings, Roster positions, etc.

If you're wondering how I get Malkin with the #3 pick - We did have a no keeper rule for Malkin/Crosby/Ovie, but they will all be available starting this year to be kept at the end of the year.

I'm leaning toward Malkin/Niemi, and getting a goalie in the 2nd round - with this additional feedback, do you all agree?
