I am interested in this team....they have some holes to fill but I think that have the roster players to do it. I think they will again be a solid club but I think they are going to miss Campbell more than they think...

Agree to some extent. Campbell will be missed, but Leddy will be solid. I;m really intrigued by Leddy, he has a good game and he's gonna impress some folks this year. Monty will be a rock .
We are a tougher team, some good grit now, CarBomb needs to keep his head about him and not do to many stupid things..
I know im a homer here ( obviously ) but the Hawks will be a much better team in 11-12 than we were in 10-11.
Update on Patrick Kane

They couldn't be much worse than they were last season. The fact they made the playoffs with guys like Pisani, Cullimore, Boynton, Scott, and Johnson playing such big roles, really shows how good their top players are. None of those guys are really NHL players, so replacing them with some actual talent can only be a good thing.

A few notes from 1st day of camp
Quenneville sees d-man Nick Leddy playing more significant minutes on both power play and penalty kill.
Crawford will be play in 3 full training camp games predicts him to play in " mid 50" games this year.
Kane wont rush, will take time, may miss just a little bit more time than first expected, but still should be ready to roll sooner rather than later.
Hossa will return and start camp in a few days, he's away for funeral of great friend Demitra.
Dave Bolland: Dave Bolland: "I'm going to do all work I can if I'm out there against Joe (Thornton) or those Sedin twins, whoever they are."
Well how about that??
Through the first 2 days of Camp/ Scrimmages the Hawks leading scorer is
Patrick Kane
2 goals and 6 points.
Kane however, will not dress in the pre season game with the Oilers on Tuesday night.
Hawks vs Oilers tonight from Saskatoon. Live streaming of the game on chicagoblackhawks.com
Emery gets the start in net tonight and play half a game, Salak will play the other half.
Kane is out
Both Toews are IN.
I am real interested in seeing Emery as I feel he'll ultimately beat out Salak for the backup gig, gonna be a solid battle.
Mayers and Monty wearing the " A"'s
The new guys getting it done.
Olesz and Mayers with the goals. McNeill assisted on Mayers goal.
Very impressed with Leddy he's flying around out there, good passes, good vision, making some things happen.
Emery looked bad on Green goal.
Brandon Saad most impressive Hawk again tonight. Creating alot of action and scoring chances. Nothing to show for it on scoreboard, but teammates and coaches taking alot of notice of him.
Also Saad hits Ovechkin, Richmond comes in and tries to fight the rookie Saad...Mayers steps in and fights Richmond...the UC goes insane, they just fell in love with Mayers.
C.C. strong in net.
