Stamkos for Pietrangelo+Skinner?
In my keeper league, I offered
Steven Stamkos + Petr Straka(farm)
for
Alex Pietrangelo + Jeff Skinner(farm) + Zac Dalpe(farm) + Ryan Murphy (farm) + Victor Rask (farm)
We do not have to put players on their ELC contract on our roster, we keep 13 players, so Skinner is still two years before counting on my proection list (he is a nice bonus)
In offense I have E.Staal, Heatley,Nash,E.Kane,Voracek and Little while on defense I have Goligoski,Streit,Pitkanen and Hedman plus Rinne and Anderson in net.
I like the idea of having Skinner,Dalpe as bonuses and adding Pietrangelo to my defense. I sacrifice my best player...but I figure I do not have any chances of finishing in the top two. With this trade I put my eggs for next year, I also have Johansen on my farm.
What'S your take on this? I give the best player, for me Stamkos for Pietrangelo+Skinner is risky, Murphy is the guy that can win me the trade in the future...

I wouldn't do it, Stamkos still hasn't even hit his peak yet and all you are getting in return are prospects. Yes skinner and pietrangelo have proved something at the NHL level, but definitely not enough for me. I advise if you're trading Stamkos to put him on the block and see what other packages you can get.

Stamkos is already at a point that none of those players you recieve will reach, he is a top 5 forward and is far from his prime. I like the guys you are getting, but none will be top 5. Keep him.

i would be asking for an elite level talent like a getz or backstrom and then another stud coming back atleast with a good prospect package. like stated before stammer is already elite and still has more left in the tank. dont get to excited about mid level studs. skinner and pieter are great but not near enough for a guy of that calibure
