Ovy is far and away the safest/best choice. He is a rarer LW. Many big boys miss on some of the CATS, Ovy's only average CAT is blocked shots.
About the only other consideration would be Perry.
I believe Ovy is in 'low mode' while Perry is in 'high mode'. Gotta love them both!
Ovy's hits take him to a whole new level with your format. Add that to his G, SOG and decent PIM and he is irriplacable.
Even without Crosby's status you have to take Ovie!!!

Like everyone else has already said, Ovechkin is the clear number one stud in this league. Less clear-cut is who to take 2nd overall! That is my decision. Damn you, Steckel.

I took Ovechkin 1st in a roto hits league last year, and even with his down scoring season, I still waltzed to a 20 point win. In a hits league Ovechkin's value just so far outweighs anyone else it's not even close.
