The Rangers continue to play it safe with forward Brendan Shanahan, who has been battling injuries to his left knee, hamstring and lower back. Shanahan could be back Thursday for the Rangers\' game against Anaheim. Marcel Hossa may also return soon from an injured back. Hossa and defenseman Marek Malik (knee) skated hard Tuesday morning and could be back by the weekend. - New York Times

Shanny is one of Don Cherry\'s \"boys\". Count on him coming back earlier than expected. Otherwise I am screwed if it is two weeks.
