is this only entry draft guys or are others able to be drafted in this draft and who might be the others?
weird how your having an entry draft before the actual nhl draft. i think the teams that draft these guys makes a huge impact.

It is pretty much just an entry draft.
Players have to be draft eligible this year (I believe).
During the year (Sept-May31), a player can be obtained as soon as they have a contract... and they are plucked off the waivers very quickly. 12 teams x 50man rosters = 600 players taken.
I like your system. Just a question, how long can you hold players for?
Too bad the draft isnt tomorrow or even later today... the prospect guide is coming out soon

hpg - HUSH! (you are going to cost me a good steal possibly!!!)
TML - a player can "wait" on our minor league team for 2 full NHL seasons. (2011-2012 & 2012-2013). Then we have to promote him to our 25player farm team or 25player pro team. There actually isn't much concern with having a prospect "pushed out" by roster size... there is always plenty of roster space to keep a developing player.
any positional requirements?

Just wondering how many D you start? Because if "Bartschi" (wink, wink) is gone then I would probably be looking at a D if they hold value in your league.
Our pro roster is 25 players and we start 18 skaters, 2 goalies nightly.
I will add that part to original thread.
Thanks for posting this, always interesting to see how things shake out in other leagues.
This is one entry draft where I'd be worried about drafting pre-entry draft though. For example, Huberdeau is hands down my #2 pick after RNH, unless he ends up on Florida, at which point he probably becomes #4 in my books.
I think D are quite valuable then. I would go D if "that guy" is scooped up.
Strome gone at #5.
That's too bad... he's the pick of the litter.
Your consolation prize is a choice between one of two franchise-level defensemen. Poor you.
