    Default Cory Schneider

Looks like he blew out something in his leg tonight.

Expect Weiman to get called up. Total absolute disaster if they lose game 7.
Moose going into game 7 with Lake Eerie too. Could be a bad night for the organization.

I think they have to call up Eddie Lack, no? I am sure they wont but man, the canucks would sure love him backing up Luongo

On the net cam it looked like his knee buckled while he was extending his leg. Looked ACL-ish. But it could be the groin too.

Canucks say it was just a cramp and that he is healthy enough to start Game 7.

    I can confirm that.

Still, ridiculous. Did he just wuss out? Even more importantly, did you see how Luongo flopped on the first save that led to the chicago game winning rebound? Terrible

Are the Canucks dumb enough to start him? I don't care if Chicago's been ripping Luongo. Game 7 on your turf if you own the world's best goalie you start him no matter what.

Alain Vigneault's brains must be scrambled from all of the over-thinking about his goalie situation.

    @ EL Caballo

HAHAHAHAHAHA "Worlds Best Goalie" HAHAHHAHAHA. Fantasy wise, reg. season yea...he's good.

But put some pressure on and he's a coin flip

Roberto Luongo is the most overrated goaltender in the NHL today. I knew the Canucks were sunk when Schneider was hurt.

You knew that eh? You should buy lottery tickets instead of posting on here then.

Figure of speech - "knew" "felt" - Luongo coming off the bench wasn't going to be ideal for sure.

Don't think it matters who backs up Luongo in the 7th game - if the Nucks as a team don't show up to win, it's hardly going to matter much.

Yep....barring an injury, this is put up or shut up time for both Luongo and the Nucks as a whole.

Gotta disagree... Schneider all the way for game 7.

    His problems:
Over handling the puck, missed communication with the D.
Both are easily fixed and much less likely to happen in GM Place where he is confident... especially compared to the United Centre where he had never played before.

Luongo fighting the puck is a bigger issue... and thus a tougher fix.

Seems like the team has decided on Luongo for game 7, so we'll see.
