I got an offer of Stoll and Brayden Schenn. Schen could be extremely valuable due to hits.

Hate to say it but that's another lowball offer. Stoll's of moderate value, at best, in a mixed league, and Schenn, well nobody knows yet, but he's likely to be boom or bust. You can still do better.

I accepted JT and his first rookie pick for Callahan and my third regular pick.

There was some terrible advice given out in this thread. JT over Callahan in 98% of leagues, but not this one.
It comes down to PPG's for stats specific to your league. Any league that has a Sedin as 64th most valuable player needs advice specific to their situation, not just general X player is more valuable than X player, because it's not the case.

Sounds like you probably should have kept Callahan. I hope it works out for you in the long haul.

    D: seabrooke, Subban,wizniewski,garrison, Carle
    G: Niemi, Fleury,

    G/A-1 pt PIM- .25pts
    Win-2pts Shutouts- 5pts(2+3)
    Keep 10. Top 13 count (4 d, 1 g, 6 Frwd and next highest-any position)

Your right ovi but I think there was a good deal of confusion due to him thinking the rules were about to change, that alter's the equation. Dong presented him with the math within his current situation, showing that Callahan was the superior asset.

However the OP also stated several times that there was a review in the summer and he felt it was likely they shift closer to a standard scoring system. This would mean that moving Callahan for JT and picks is a wise move.

Quite frankly I don't think anyone could give him "good advice" in this situation since we do not know the Gm's in his league and how likely a shift in rule's is. He was given both sides of the arguement quite well I believe to make up his own mind.

Sorry, if i'm going to be critical, i should explain myself a little further, you're correct.

It bothers me when advice is given out based on the title of the thread alone. By no means did I mean that there wasn't any good advice, because there was some very well thought out posts on this thread overall and some very helpful advice. I was talking specifically about the posts where it was obvious that no thought, or even a glance at the OP was taken. There was no clear cut choice here, lots of factors involved etc...and for any advice to be given out, there was some thought required and as stated, that wasn't the case with quite a few of them here.

Apologies for the negative post. I wasn't intending to overlook the quality posts on this thread at all. I think because there were just so many that jumped to a standard conclusion, that it started to bother me. But in the end, you are correct in saying that he was given both sides.

I think that later on the advice was good but many times threads only get one or two responses so after the first to I verbally agreed to a base trade of Callahan for Tavaras. Later on the thoughtful respnces came in and I was able to get a first round rookie pick out of it.

To make matters worse I am playing him in the playoffs this week! If Callahan beasts this week or JT sucks and I lose because of it I will not be happy!
