I played hockey tonight first time since the incident and in the room discussion full of bruin, leaf, habfans, let me tell you...I feel even stronger now that its just completely insane to think that chara didn't ram his head into the friggin divider. This world is crazy...we're all crazy!!
p.s. we were all agreed that the police thing is just stupid but a lot of the boys were thinking something crazy is going to happen.

How about the Doughty hit then? Same intent (to hit, not injure) , both skating right at it, brought his arms up, etc., not even a penalty call. No outcry becuase he wasn't injured. I haven't really weighed in in this topic but it's all circumstantial, if Pacioretty was fine after the hit he recieved it wouldn't have been an issue.
My god...he WAS hurt and hurt badly. And it wasn't because he decided to dump the puck in and skate fast and jump into a turnbuckle. 5 min game misconduct but it was a hockey play. Sigh
