Rundblad reminds me of Brian Campbell. But after seeing how he takes the body, toss a little Niklas Kronwall in there too.

Yeah but like I said earlier in this thread, Karlsson sometimes hit like that in Sweden too haha.

It will be a circus seeing Rundblad and Karlsson on D. They will challenge eachother to see who can have the lowest +/- by the end of the year.

Lol. Yeah, I bet the only time they pair up is on a future PP. I see Cowen and another monster lining up next to each of them 5-on-5.

3 assists today. 44 points in 50 games now.

Edit: Oh and Director of Player Personnel, Pierre Dorion, guaranteed Rundblad will be in the NHL full-time in the fall.

I see Hockey's Future has noticed Rundblad's terrific play this season and moved him to the
the top of Ottawa's prospect list. If I remember correctly he was a handful of spots down the ranking before making this jump to top spot. Nize. Very Nize.

Take Hockey's Future with a huge grain of salt though. There rankings and ratings are inconsistent...they even had the guy who writes the articles on Russian prospects do the rankings for the Bruins haha

Always do, but it's still nice to see that he's turning more heads out there.

Assists on the game winner in OT to finish 3rd in league scoring with 50pts in 55 games, 10 behind the league leader. Nice season without a doubt and I'm looking forward to seeing what he can bring to the NHL next season with the Sens.

    He's 2nd all-time for points by a d-man in the SEL.

I think he will get max 30 points next year if he stays the whole year, but he may get sent to the AHL if he struggles early on. Increased opportunity if Gonchar were to get injured

Great talent but judging from his highlight videos I'm sure there will be an "adjustment period" for him. Luckily the Sens can afford to let him make mistakes in the big league, maybe shuffle him between the NHL and AHL next year, and do what is best for his development long term rather than do what is best to help their franchise win in the short run.
