Yeah that's tough, I'd say a top tier forward is what I'd want back, but you are selling Mike Green at a terrible time. Is this a move to contend for this season and that's why you want to make it?
My league has no PIM's.
Last year, I wouldn't have given up on Green for Getzlaf.
This year, I have Yandle and Enstrom as options as well.
I have Backstrom and OV. Reducing my Caps investment is probably wise in case this playing style continues next year.
Now, I can't land Getzlaf for Green.Funny how an unexpected coaching strategy has messed up my plans.
What is a reasonable forward equivalent to ask for Green?
Stastny? Duchesne? Giroux? A Sedin if I offer +? Stall? Thornton? Parise?
Any of these worthwhile targets? Thanks for your input.
Personally, I would want a Tier 1 Forward for Green who has done things the last 2 seasons that no fantasy defenceman has done for a very long time. For me, Sedin, Getzlaf are my targets but I would have to throw in more

It is a "managing risk" move.
I am in first now, great chance to win this year. Next year, if WSH does the same thing again (I have kept 3 caps the past few years: Backs, OV, Green), then I would be risking my chance to win again.
I also have Yandle and Enstrom so suitable replacements and not enough keeper spots (9).
I am more than happy to keep him as well. He should fetch the greatest return.

I actually think Yandle will fetch you the best return right now. I think selling Green low is a mistake. Try to move Yandle and his great year off on someone since you can't keep him. Green can not possibly stay like this and he should turn it around once the fat guy is outta there. They are high powered offense and the points will come once they get away from trying to play a game they are not suited for.

Thanks.
My other option is to sell Yandle. I am going to look into that. Green probably won't fetch me what I want (people want to buy low) but MAYBE Yandle will get a fair offer.
