Do I trade Quick?
I have been trying to get a deal done with the same owner for a while. It's been back and forth and we've come to this.
My offer was:
My- Quick + Moulson FOR His- Sharp + J. Neal
He countered with:
My- Quick + Moulson For His- Sharp + Lucic
I have Bernier, Thomas, Halak and Brodeur on my roster so giving up a goalie is my trade bait. I am in first this season and just lost Malkin so I do need some help up front. Do I make this deal or do I counter by putting David Jones or Nik Bergfors up on my side in place of Matt Moulson?

To be honest I'd rather have Lucic anyways but Sharp isn't worth getting rid of your best long-term goalie. I'd count myself lucky that he didn't go for it. Brodeur is all but gone in a year or two and Halak may be a one-hit wonder. Thomas is great but for how much longer are they going with him when Rask is waiting in the wings.

Yeah, I'd keep the Quick/Bernier duo and shop Thomas or Brodeur if you have to.
