This is GREAT news. We've been waiting for an actual progress report. Resuming light workouts is officially progress...not the "I'm waiting for my headaches to subside" kind of progress. At least for now he's symtom free.

What does everyone "feel" realistically is when Crosby will be back? Any chance he isn't Crosby when he returns.
Would you take him in a trade? I would be getting him at 75% of his value which if he's back in two weeks and plays like normal is a steal. If he's back in a month it's a good deal anyway.

As a fan of the game I wouldn't mind benching him for the season just to be extra safe. As a guy who's trading for him it's my worst fear.

There is ZERO chance he plays next week. There is maybe a 20% chance he plays in 2 weeks.
I'm no expert, but I think you're safe. At most you'll miss two weeks, but that to me is doubtful based on everything I've read. Chances are good that you don't miss anything. He has to survive a week of what he's doing now without any relapse, then a week of heavy workouts, then a week of skating before he plays. They could combine the last two weeks together, but I don't think they'll rush him and risk throwing their franchise in the toilet for an extra week or two in a season where they've already essentially clinched a playoff birth.
