Acquiring Datsyuk
I have been offered the following deal:
Dats plus a 4th round pick
for
My 2nd round pick
Team offering deal is focusing on next year. Centers are valuable in our league. I am making a run for it this year and have been slowly upgrading at each position. I essentially lose nothing this year and get Dats, a solid fantasy Center.
If I get Dats I will have M. Koivu, Backes, Krejci, and Spezza (when he comes back). I will likely need to rid myself of either Krejci or Spezza as I only want to carry 4 Centers. Right now, Spezza is the odd man out. With Savard going down and Krejci re-united with Lucic on top line....I am liking him more. Plus, I have little faith in Spezza coming back and rejuvenating the entire Sens team.
So let me know if Dats is a good deal and whether or not Spezza is the one to drop/trade (if I can trade him).
Also feel free to tell me where I may need to upgrade more.
