trying to trade for Parise

right now we are looking at Parise/Mason for Carter/Anderson +

but I could land on Subban and or Tedenby too.

And he is interested in (some other names not in this list cause I told him I wouldn't trade them, such as Malkin, Backstrom Duchene...)

IMO, that is way too much. Anderson is better than Mason. I consider Carlson and Subban equals right now. Actually, Carlson might be the better option now and for the future. I'd prefer Carlson over Subban as well. And your giving Carter and Hossa to get Parise. I think you are overpaying in this trade no matter how you look at it.

I'd rather offer something like Heatley and Hossa for Parise. He might or might not bite because he would be getting two veteran forwards. I guess if he is trying to compete now he might. But I'd definitely still look to offer him something revolving around those two players.
