I now challenge you to do the same for the 1990 Draft

I Challenge you guys to redraft the players selected in the 1st round of the 1990 NHL Draft as you feel fit. Who will you pick 1st? 2nd? 3rd Overall? Your choice.
Let's assume you are drafting the "best overall player" and not drafting based on the team needs.

This draft is one of my personal favourites EVER
This is how it went down...

    c) Let's see your version of the 1st Round. Feel free to re-do the entire draft or just the top 10 (your choice)

    Doug Weight (2nd Rd NYR),
    Geoff Sanderson (2nd Rd Hartford),
    Mikael Renberg (2nd Rd PHI),
    Vyacheslav Kozlov (3rd Rd DET),

    Ken Klee (10th WSH),
    Jaroslav Modry (10th NJD),
    Valerie Zelepukin (11th NJD),

    Interesting Trade at the Draft

    - Calgary Flames Traded 1990 first round pick (#20-Martin Brodeur), 1990 second round pick (#24-David Harlock), 1990 second round pick (#29-Chris Gotziaman) to Devils for 1990 first round pick (#11-Trevor Kidd), 1990 second round pick (#32-Vesa Viitakoski)

**Essentially CGY traded Martin Brodeur forTrevor Kidd (he was hyped a tonne at this draft)**

Pretty odd to see a 1st overall pick get the title of "most underrated" but I feel it's warranted because a lot of people crapped on him for not putting up any 90 point seasons. But he became an awesome two-way centerman and was a big part of a famous checking like with Scott Thornton and Niklas Sundstrom that helped make the Sharks a very relevant team in the NHL.
